Our annual Safety and Health Week provides our employees with health screenings and talks on key topics such as safety and health protocols, health management techniques and more, empowering them to take better care of their health, both at work and at home.
We organise mental health awareness talks for our employees, empowering them with strategies to manage stress and burnout while providing them with a supportive environment for employees to discuss mental health-related concerns.
Through our fabric recycling initiative, we divert synthetic fabrics from landfill disposal, averting the release of harmful chemicals and GHG emissions. In FY2025, over 700kg of fabric waste was collected and donated for recycling.
Through our Back To Earth programme, food waste generated at our Shah Alam headquarters is composted into an organic fertiliser and donated to local farmers, contributing to the circular economy and providing a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilisers.
Since 2022, we have planted 2,000 mangrove trees across the state of Selangor, helping sequester atmospheric carbon to counter our greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions while bolstering natural coastal defence systems and protecting local biodiversity.
Our Green Truck Programme, which was developed in collaboration with MPMA and ExxonMobil Chemical in 2020, continues to expand its reach across Peninsular Malaysia, educating more schoolchildren on the importance of plastic recycling and instilling the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (“3R”) in their everyday lives.
Blood donation drives have become a well-established staple in our community outreach programme, with regular events organised to meet the request from government hospitals that often run low on supply. All drives are conducted with full safety measures undertaken and enjoy strong participation from our employees.
Our Green Truck Programme, which was developed in collaboration with MPMA and ExxonMobil Chemical in 2020, returned to action after the pandemic to promote plastic recycling awareness and inculcate 3R practices in school children. The Green Truck will be visiting schools across Peninsular Malaysia, with our most recent activity held at a school in Ipoh, Perak.
Our mangrove planting programme launched in 2022 offers a variety of positive impacts on the environment and community. It helps to sequester carbon from the atmosphere, thus countering our GHG emissions, while at the same time rehabilitating the surrounding land and water ecosystems to promote biodiversity.
